The Relationship Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing area sales and operations, devising strategies to enhance productivity and performance, ultimately achieving the Circle’s financial targets. Responsibilities include ensuring smooth daily operations, adherence to banking regulations, and fostering relationships with key account holders to drive revenue generation through account deepening.
Key Responsibilities:
- Source new customers to generate revenue for both fund-based and non-fund-based products, expanding the customer base.
- Strengthen relationships with existing customers to sustain business and identify cross-selling opportunities.
- Collaborate with the Credit Team to manage portfolios prudently, diversify risk, and uphold portfolio quality.
- Ensure compliance with due processes, guidelines, and the bank’s code of conduct throughout all transactions.
- Review reports regularly to identify business opportunities, address early warning signals, and implement exit plans for stressed accounts.
- Provide feedback to relevant teams for process streamlining, TAT reduction, risk diversification, and inclusive policy.
- Drive Product Per Customer (PPC) growth within the allocated portfolio across defined product sets.
- Critically analyze and implement digital initiatives aligned with government initiatives, assessing cost-benefit to the bank.
- Replicate Centrally Sponsored Schemes (CSS) and State Sponsored Schemes (SSS) across the assigned portfolio.
- Facilitate the throughput of CDBT & GST taxes from the portfolio and support the Nodal officer as needed.
- Review existing portfolios, ensuring timely updates of ReKYC, PAN numbers, and Covenant compliance as per banking standards.
