Orthopedic Doctor / Orthopedic Surgeon

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnosis & Evaluation: Assess and diagnose musculoskeletal conditions through patient history, physical examinations, and diagnostic tests (X-rays, MRIs, CT scans, etc.).
• Treatment Planning: Develop individualized treatment plans, including conservative management (medications, physical therapy) or surgical interventions as necessary.
• Surgical Procedures: Perform surgical procedures such as joint replacements, arthroscopic surgeries, and fracture repairs.
• Post-Operative Care: Monitor patients’ recovery and progress after surgery, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
• Patient Education: Educate patients and their families on musculoskeletal conditions, treatment options, and preventive care.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other medical professionals, such as physical therapists, radiologists, and primary care providers, to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
• Research & Continuing Education: Stay current with advancements in orthopedic practices, procedures, and technologies. Participate in research and contribute to the development of new treatment protocols.
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, documenting diagnoses, treatment plans, and progress.
• Emergency Care: Provide emergency treatment for musculoskeletal injuries, including fractures, sprains, and dislocations.
